Turok 2: Seeds of Evil - A Classic Shooter Returns to Nintendo Switch
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil is a remastered version of the classic game Turok, now available on Nintendo Switch. Developed by Nightdive Studios, this game features improved graphics, new multiplayer mode, and smarter enemies. It's a first-person shooter where you play as the Dinosaur Hunter, fighting your way through 35 different types of enemies with over 20 weapons.
The game's enemies are intelligent and will attack in groups, flee when outnumbered, and take cover during a firefight. They also flinch and spasm differently depending on which body part you hit. The game features six engrossing quest levels, including the Port of Adia, the Death Marshes, and the Lair of the Blind Ones.
The remastered version also includes a new multiplayer mode, which lets you battle with your friends using the best levels, weapons, and visuals from both the PC and Nintendo 64 versions. The game engine has been ported to Kex Engine 3.4 and features a modernized deferred renderer, shadow maps, and compiled light maps. The game also includes enhanced gameplay, such as improved character speed and maneuverability, the ability to grapple ledges, and instant travel to any previously visited portal with the "Quick Warp" feature.
